The Benefits of EUBREAST Membership
Types of Membership (see "how to apply" for online application)
You can choose to apply to become a Network Associate. This may be of interest to those physicians and breast cancer specialists who would like to remain in close contact with the EUBREAST Network, keeping up-to-date about its activities, but don’t wish to acquire the official status of an Effective Member. Since Network Associates are not official members of either of the EUBREAST Associations, they do not have the right to vote in assemblies or board meetings. These Associates are not required to pay the annual fee (donations, however, are always welcome!).
Only individuals (natural persons) can apply to be a Network Associate.
In order to apply as an Network Associate of the EUBREAST Network, you should:
- complete the online application form (including GDPR consent);
- attach your English-language CV and list of any relevant publications together with any additional proof of your clinical or scientific research in the field of breast cancer or breast cancer treatment; you can also provide this information by providing a link to your online profile (such as LinkedIn)
- Should there be any issues with your application, the EUBREAST Network will contact you.
If you have any technical difficulties, please contact info@eubreast.com. Should a Network Associate later decide to become an Effective Member, s/he can contact the Network directly at info@eubreast.com.
Please note that the EUBREAST Network is not a legal entity but an informally-recognized group. For any issues that may arise in relation to a Network Associate (such as questions regarding GDPR or conflict of interest), one of the two legally-recognized EUBREAST Associations will manage the situation directly.
The EUBREAST Network welcomes applications for Effective Membership to one of the EUBREAST Associations (EUBREAST e.V. Germany and EUBREAST ETS Italy). You can apply as an individual (natural person) or as a legal entity (such as an institution), in accordance with the rules and regulations of its country of origin. The rights and obligations of the Effective Members, including the annual membership fee, are regulated in the Statutes of the individual EUBREAST associations*.
To apply for Effective Membership as an individual to one of the EUBREAST Associations, please:
- complete the online application form (including GDPR consent);
- attach your English-language CV and list of any relevant publications together with any additional proof of your clinical or scientific research in the field of breast cancer or breast cancer treatment; you can also provide this information by providing a link to your online profile (such as LinkedIn)
- the appropriate EUBREAST Executive Board* will then evaluate your application and inform you of their decision as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you will be considered a Network Associate with access to the members’ area.
*Should your application be accepted, you will be automatically assigned to one of the two legally-recognized EUBREAST Associations, unless you make a specific request in your application. The two EUBREAST Associations currently work in parallel within the legal limitations of their statutes.

*The annual fee of 50 or 500 Euros will be solicited once a year prior to the spring General Assembly.
Membership/Network Associate Conditions:
In addition to accepting the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, by becoming part of the EUBREAST Network and/or an effective member in one of its legally-recognized Associations, you accept that you, either as a natural person or as the representative of your Institution, will not use or disclose any critical information obtained through your membership or participation in the Network until it has been officially published and/or you have been given permission by a legally-recognized EUBREAST Association or the EUBREAST Network. This applies in particular to any information obtained in regard to the trials or projects in progress. If you have any questions about this, please contact info@eubreast.org
Moreover, you agree to let the EUBREAST Association(s) or the EUBREAST Network in general know about any current, potential, or future conflicts of interest that may occur in regard to your membership with EUBREAST or as a Network Associate.
By applying as an Effective Member, you must demonstrate commitment to the field of clinical and scientific breast cancer research or breast cancer treatment in your CV.
As a Network Associate, you must demonstrate commitment to the field of clinical and scientific breast cancer research or breast cancer treatment, be a health worker in the field of breast cancer or related fields, or have received explicit permission from the EUBREAST Network.
You also acknowledge that membership, either as an Effective Member, or as a Network Associate is not sought for the purpose of making profit or seeking other economic advantage.
You are aware the EUBREAST reserves the right to deny memberships if you do not fulfill these requirements or you breach any of the terms mentioned above.
